The Call for Papers for Finncon 2026 Academic Track has been published. Proposals for presentations and other academic program items related to speculative fiction and its research can be submitted by emailing a 200–300-word abstract to academic@2026.finncon.org by Thursday, April 2. In line with the convention at large, the theme of the Academic Track is ”Beginnings.” We warmly welcome scholars from all research fields and at all career stages! The preferred language for presentations is English. The organizers are happy to answer any additional questions.
